The FÖRSTER system takes a different approach: solid grey cast iron rails with T-slots allow continuously adjustable positioning without fixed grid constraints. Grey cast iron is a special alloy with lower thermal expansion than steel. It significantly reduces impact noise and, with regular care, develops a natural non-stick patina that reduces welding spatter adhesion. Cleaning becomes easier over time, not harder. If a rail is damaged, it can be replaced individually, eliminating the need to replace the entire table.
