FÖRSTER Modularity

Well-designed system solutions for flexible and ergonomic manufacturing processes

Modularity & flexibility – one system for changing requirements

Modular system concept

FÖRSTER welding tables and fixture systems are based on a consistently modular design. The rail and clamping system is designed so that work surfaces can be individually configured and adapted to new requirements at any time. This creates a comprehensive system that grows with the tasks and can be flexibly expanded.

Adaptation to sizes and geometries

The removable and repositionable rail system allows the work surface to be enlarged, opened, or rearranged as needed. Even large, heavy, or geometrically complex assemblies can be securely handled and precisely positioned. Different component sizes and shapes can be accommodated without any modifications to the basic system.

Flexibility in everyday production

The modular design allows for rapid adaptation to changing products, variants, and manufacturing tasks. Setup times are reduced, modifications remain manageable, and existing components can be reused. Mobile bases and optional casters provide additional flexibility in the factory layout and enable use at different workstations.

Economic advantages through modularity

The reusability of the system components reduces the need for custom solutions and lowers investment and follow-up costs in the long term. Especially for small to medium production runs and high product diversity, the modular system offers clear economic advantages and creates a sustainable foundation for future-proof manufacturing processes.

Ergonomics – working efficiently, reducing strain

Ergonomic system design

The ergonomic design of FÖRSTER welding tables and fixtures is consistently geared towards safe and comfortable handling in daily use. All system components are designed for intuitive operation and support stable, controlled workflows – regardless of component size or processing scope.

Machining in a single setup

A key ergonomic advantage is the ability to machine assemblies in a single setup. The all-around access to the assembly eliminates time-consuming reclamping operations. This not only reduces physical strain but also increases process reliability and the quality of the work results.

Optimal working position for every task

Modular bases and frames allow for various degrees of freedom in the work surface. Height adjustment, as well as rotation, swivel, and swivel functions, enable the working position to be precisely adapted to each processing step. This ensures that workpieces remain easily accessible at all times, even with heavy or bulky assemblies.

Relief, safety and productivity

The ergonomic design noticeably reduces physical strain. Employees work with less fatigue, the risk of injury decreases, and productivity increases. Especially with repetitive tasks or in multi-shift operations, ergonomic design contributes to sustainable, safe working conditions.
